Default Replace VCT solenoid just because?

I have a 06 w/ the 5.4 that has 121k on it now. It runs like a top no problems. I have owned since new so the the oil has been changed every 5k with Motorcraft oil and filter
Should I replace the VCT solenoids just to have the new updated ones?
I also have the valve covers with the seal so I wouldn't have to remove the covers to do this

Probably not a bad idea . It is a really easy job. Takes less than an hour and less than $100 if you order them online. I would say go for it and get the ease of mind back.

I did just because, it's been updated 3 times, so there's a reason, and it may prevent the timing chain and what whole shebang having to be replaced. Took 15 minutes, be sure to just order the new gaskets/seals for them too though.
