Default Repainting mirrors black

Just wondering if anyone has reprinted there stock mirrors black? Mine have a few scuffs and are a little faded. If anyone did this what did you use?

I haven't done it but I would imagine you would have to use something that would adhere to plastic like Krylon Fusion paints. Most likely going to take a lot of sanding and wet sanding as well as quite a few coats of paint and clear to make it look good.

I know there are a lot of people that have done PTM work on their trucks. I would be willing to bet there is a PTM forum on here somewhere. A little search can go a long way!

Repainted all my black plastics including the mirrors with Krylon fusion black satin. Washed and cleaned real well with degreaser and painted. Came out better than new and has held up wonderfully.

Did you clear coat any of the things you painted?
