Default Removing my 6" lift?

I have a 05 f150 xlt 4x4 5.4l with 63,000 miles and I want to remove the lift.
Is this even a possibility? How hard would it be?
I'm debating between buying another truck and lowering this one.
I was reading the instructions on the rough country website and a piece of the frame has to be cut out to install the lift. Can the piece also be welded back in if I can find someone that has it.
I need my truck to be more practical. I love the 6" lift but I would also like a truck I can get some decent mileage out of it. My edge says 13 but the math says 9.5-10.

I tried to search this up and I found it only took me to lift installs since most people keep the lifts.

Thanks for the help in advance!

I am not sure about removing a lift kit. BUT, If you are looking to trade for a stock suspension I would be willing to workout a deal with you!

I was actually going to pack the lift in a box and put it in storage. My little brother is going to be looking at an f150 in his future. I figured he would like that lift kit
But hey! Trading is always an option and I'll keep that in mind when that time comes!
