Default E-fans

I did the electric fans on my 5.4 and it was a huge difference! It launched harder on takeoff with max AC on then it did with the clutch fan on and no AC. I always monitor fuel mileage and picked up around 50 more miles per 30 gallon tank also. By the way, I put a large open end wrench on the clutch fan and it only took one wack with a mallet and it threaded right off. hope this helps.

Removing the stock fan was easy, rented the tool from the local auto parts store. One wrench to hold the pulley and another to turn the fan.

This is what you need to rent from autozone. In my option the E-fan upgrade is worth while esp if you have the 5.4L motor. I just did mine 2 weeks ago.

Well, getting an increase of 50 miles per tankfull with a 30 gallon tank by installing electric fans is a good improvement.

If you were getting 12 MPG on a 30 gallon tank, you saw 360 miles per tank, and now with the electric fans, you've jumped to 410 miles per tank, meaning you now get almost 14 MPG. Depending on how much you spent for the kit, this could be a worth while investment.

Does anyone have some part numbers of the fans or kits they have used? I might be interested in trying this out.

I mounted a lincoln mark 8 fan about a yr ago. They are the best from my rsearch are regarded highly by rock crawler clubs. I also noticed better bottom end snap plus about 1 mpg added. No question in my mind, just do it.

I've always used a horseshoe stake and a BFH.

You need to expieriance products first bofore bashing. Efans and a CAI are a must on any of my vehicles.

Colder air,
Better throttle response,
Less weight,
Less recipricating mass,
More room,

I just use the fans at the autoparts store, but a great fan would be the mark8 it flows 5000 cfm thats huge
