Default Remove stock sub assembly in 07 lariat?

I have an 07 lariat and I'd like to remove the factory sub assembly out from under the rear seat to increase storage. Is the entire system wired in a method that I would need to upgrade the rest of the speakers, etc.? Sorry for the noob question but I'm new to the vehicle electronic world.

I'm pretty sure the factory sub is a "plug-and-play" design. Lift the seat, unplug, take it out, and go.

I think your door speakers are wired with a crossover so if you remove the sub, you are going to be without the low end in the sound spectrum.

Theres 3 bolts holding it in place and then theres just a plug that you will need to un plug. As far as for the sound quality, you will be left without the low end spectrum but they will still work. If you try to adjust the bass on your head unit and add to much youll get crackling and popping coming from your speakers.
