Remote Turbo Questions
So I recently acquired an 05' F150 XL with the 4.6 2V basically for free. It's pretty beat up and has a lot of miles on it since it was a work truck previously. I am bringing it from California to Colorado so I'm anticipating flywheel horsepower to drop under 200hp as the altitude goes up to 5000 feet.
I was thinking of doing a really low budget rear mount turbo running low boost, maybe 4psi (or 2psi over sea level pressure) just to compensate for the altitude and a little bit more torque. But if this cannot be done with the stock fuel system then I'm not going to mess around with it, it's not worth it. What are the limits of the stock fuel pump and injectors on an 05' 4.6 2V?

to be honest you might have a hard time finding that info here because most of us that do forced induction on these trucks use whipple super chargers on the 5.4 running around 8-9 sometimes 11 psi so if it has the same fuel pump and you should be alright there but idk what it has for injectors. if they happen to be the same as the 5.4 then my guess would be you are good
