Hello I have a remote start on my truck but it didn't come with a starter transmitter. The remote start is a ford 7l2j-19g367-aa. I'm not sure if I need the one botton key fob, or the six button. I was told it depends on if it was a bronze or gold system, how would I figure out which one it is. If anyone has this remote start on their truck which fob do you have? I'd like to use this but not sure which fob to buy. My ford dealer told me I could buy both and see which one worked, some help there.

Mine is a single button fob seperate from my lock/unlock fob.

FFBoomer519 ok thats what i'm curious about. Do you have the same number on your remote starter cpu that I do? Does anyone know how to tell the difference between the gold and the bronze remote starters?

I Googled the part number and found this on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Vehic...p2047675.l2557
Its ended but there is a picture with the whole system-it is a one button remote.

find your part number on page 7 and it too shows a 1 button remote. Gold may be just the remote start and bronze would be the remote entry/start/alarm.

Thanks for the help. I guess I'll buy the single button fob and see if I can program it. If I buy the single button first its only $22 the six button is $55. I might have to check back in if I have any questions on the programming hopefully the link you put on here should get me thru it.
