I have 35s and stock 3.73s; doing frequent trips up (and down) the Sierra mountains with zero issues nor concern. If I towed or hauled heavy loads, then I'd consider gearing down [numerically higher ratio], but it's wholly unnecessary in my case - God Bless the 5.4L Triton!
