Tape those things off and cut out the letters... Light coat of VHT nightshade will get rid of the pink hue. It looks bright enough to where you will not have to worry about a HUGE reduction in light output.
I can not say that I am a fan but props for doing it.

Although inspections in NH would not permit the white ones I bet a set of amber ones wired to the directionals/markers would be sweet. Looks good to me. Wonder if I could get red emblem for tailgate?

Thank you for the pix, I told my g/f that they are on my whish list. Haha. I don't think I want to wire them into the turn signals, my personal thinking, it may be too much.
The red tailgate idea sounds great other than having th run the wire inside the tailgate. Any ideas on where you would bring them out and into the underside of the bed and what quick connect you would use? May want to shoot them a email about it to get the idea out there.

The only white light allowed is front end and plate lights. Even my rear fogs (help backing up) need to be tied to the reverse switch. If not they would also fail. Also only allowed a max of 3 foward facing aux lights (including fogs). Anything more must be covered. Inspections here are a pain. To make it worse Im a Licensed inspector so I cant even play dumb

How hard do you think it would be to wire up a set of the amber ones into the running lights as well the turn singles? Would you think there be any problems using them as side facing turn signals since then were not designed to blink?
