Default Recommendations for good 4" Lift for my 2004 SCREW 2wd?

What's up guys, I'm looking to up the ante on the height of my truck, but I can't go too high due to health restrictions. After lots of research and just plain observation, I've come to the conclusion that a 4" lift is for me...does anyone have any recommendations for a good one that isn't terribly expensive? I'm waiting on buying wheels and tires until I decide, so help and insight would be appreciated. I'm pretty new to the game, but know a little. I'm already leveled with Bilstein 5100's and I loved the transformation, but it left me wanting More, haha!

Interested in the same thing. Only thing I've seen is leveling kit or struts and blocks.

Well....nobody is interested in answering this one I guess. How's the weather for you? It's starting to get pretty warm here :v)

You can run the bilsteins set to zero lift and use the spacer in the 4" lift kit on top of them.
Rancho, and zone are good 4" lift kit brands with zone being the cheapest.

Okay, so it's been done. The Bilsteins aren't forty bucks a pop, so I didn't want to screw something up in doing so. How is the ride after this? Is there going to be a dramatic difference between that setup and a 4" kit with all the doo-dads?

I'm thinking about doing the bilsteins set at 0 with a 3" level on top or the bilsteins at .5" and a 3" level

Keep in mind... Especially on a 2wd... Anything above a 2.5" spacer on factory height is the maximum you want to do without causing problems on other components like ball joints, etc. Some have claimed to have done a 3" spacer with no problems though.

Over that, the only other option I have seen is doing a 6" complete suspension lift.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong though. I have an 08 2wd that I am putting a 2.5" in front and a 2" block in the rear very soon.

There's so many options out there, it's hard to know which is the right one for your needs. The truck rides so smoothly and quietly, I'd hate to negatively impact that, but at the same time I want to make it a TRUCK, not just a truck ya know? I love seeing everyone's own interpretations and customizations of their trucks and it really helps me figure out where I want to take mine, but at the same time it's like going to a restaurant that has ten pages in their menu. It's hard to choose. I know that's a good thing though. I've been on the other end of that spectrum with my Thunderbird Turbo Coupe where back in the 90's it was difficult to find anything for it

The fox 2 inch struts look pretty cool. The only lift I seen was a 6 inch procomp and it was $2600 I believe. That's out of my price range. I'm just looking to run 35x12.50 on 20s. Don't see why won't work with 2 or 3 inches. 33s are darn near same size as stock 275/55s.

Boss ultimate kit is around $1200, fit 35x12.50's with no rubbing or trimming. 2 3/4 up front and I chose the 2 3/4 rear block for slight rake.

Oh and the ride is great, not floaty, no vibration on the highway, really really happy with the ride, way improved over the stock suspension that had 73,000 miles on it.

You could add a 1" body lift and you'd be right at 4" total, that's what they did to the F150lifts.com company truck.
