Default Recommendation on Headers for 2007 5.4 F150

Bought a new engine and upon pulling the older one one of the headers has a crack in it

So I am thinking of upgrading if it is worth it. Since I have to replace one, I figured both should be replaced since I am getting a new engine put in.

I wanted to get yalls input on it.

Are you looking for Short or Long Tube? Do you have to worry about emissions?

I can point you in the right direction.

I was looking for the stock which was short, I notice from research that JBA seemed to be a good brand to go.

But, shorties will bolt right up to your current stock system...long tube’s will require exhaust system mod’s..

Shorties; they will provide you with a low to mid RPM range performance increase that these trucks are usually run in. And as Techrep stated, they are a great bolt in replacement for the stock exhaust manifolds.

I was looking at the Gibson stainless steel shorties... Martin runs them and loves them...

What about the Flowmasters?
Noticed a exhaust smell inside, I know my manifolds are gone.
Leaking and cracked.
JBA, Gibson, Banks, Flowmasters I'm sooo confused???
