Rearing Bearing Leaking Grease??
I was changing my rear brakes yesterday and noticed an excessive amount of grease on the inside of my rim and all over my brake caliper...I cleaned all the grease up and wiped everything clean and install my new brakes. Checked this morning and It seems to be leaking a bit of grease still. I had the half axle and bearing replaced a few months ago and have had no issues until now. Could it be a bad bearing seal? What else should I be concerned with? Thanks in advanced.

Just guessing but with what you have mentioned that would be my guess, a bad bearing seal. I had a 69 Bronco that had the exact same problem that you described and that was what was wrong.

Thanks for the input. I'm going to get it checked this weekend. Hopefully my local garage will do it for free since it's only been a couple months since they fixed it.

Your welcome and I would surely think they would stand behind their work, if they don't they should since its only been a couple months. Good luck
