Rear speakers whine?

It is either a grounding problem or poorly insulated spreaker/RCA wires. Your alternator isnt the problem. Also keep power and speaker wires away from each other.

I ran my power wire (0 gauge) from the battery under the truck by the frame rail and up through the rubber plug under the back seat and my RCA's under the door sill plate.

Rather then redoing your wiring get a set of ground loop isolators ( from eBay ) should fix your problem

My '04 factory speaks get the same thing from the rears. Nice whine sometimes, even when the radio is powered off! I haven't looked into it yet, but my experience as an elec. tech tells me that there is some type of power wire near something, guessing in the dash behind the head.
