The fox shocks will outperform the other 3, but will put a dent in your wallet. You won't regret investing in them though, as there amazing shocks and ride better than almost everything else out there. Fox and King shocks are some of the best out there on the market.

Why would you want to run 2 different shocks if you don't mind me asking? Fox shocks might be better for towing, that's all I can think of.

Not sure really. Put 5100s in the front to level it out a few months ago was going to do the rear with 5100s this winter but budget is tight and wheels and tires got in the way as well as wheel actuators so when I get around to it I was just wondering how crazy that would be? Would Fox eliminate the way the F-150 bounces around in the back better than Bilsteins? Bilsteins are great in the front for sure.

From what I've noticed Fox shocks for the rear are about $100 difference a pair. You get what you pay for right?

There is also our F150Lifts Boss shocks, we have the rears for 04-15. The front 04-08 Boss Coilovers are being built now. We are also a Fox dealer and have the Fox in stock.

Fox Shocks are designed for suspension travel, such as jumping. There going to be a little stiffer because they are designed to take an impact, but i have also heard they have good street shocks. All depends on which ones you buy. Here are some reviews at the bottom of this page, under the "Reviews" tab.

Great reviews. So am I crazy for thinking of using Bilstein up front and Fox in the rear?

I just always thought my F-150 bounced around bad in the rear over bumps since day 1. I have an FX4 are the factory shocks really different than an XLT or Lariat?

I'm not sure bud, I would love to tell you, but I don't even have y'alls year model truck lol. My buddy has fox shocks, and they are amazing. It literally feels like riding in a car, rather than a truck.
