I couldn't get my hands in to the tabs, I had to use a log flat blade screwdriver and went along the inside part of the U-shaped hook and had to push the screwdriver up pretty hard to the tabs then push back while also pushing down on the seat from the top then lift the seat when you feel it release. Don't forget to take the cover on the center seatbelt off.
