Rear Power Sliding Window not working

Have you had someone try and assist the window to move while you are working the switch - or vice versa? Mine once was stubborn to start but as my son held the switch so I could listen to what was happening, I pushed the sliding frame and it began working again. Almost like the frame had gotten stuck in the channel or gummed up. It didn't take much force, just enough to break whatever was binding it. Cleaned the whole window area lightly lubed the cable and hasn't happened again. Hopefully it's something simple like that.

My 2004 Supercrew has the sliding rear window. In the summer time, it refuses to open. It doesn't make any noise or anything. When it cools off, it works fine. I am assuming that the track or frame expands due to the heat and the motor isn't strong enough. Anyway, I finally unhooked the switch after $70 worth of new seals (it was leaking in the bottom corners) that were a waste of 7 hours install time. A $5 tube of black caulk worked great though!
I would recommend using an airhose to blow out the channel very well and maybe a toothbrush with some simple green. Then lube the cable where it goes through the track. My leak caused some gunk to build up in the track. Once I cleaned it and lubed the cable it opened when hot also. Unfortunately, I couldn't solve the leak problem, so just caulked it closed.
