Rear Pinion Seal?

Yes, 99.9% that drop is coming from leaking pinion seal.
Your pictures are of the front of the rear differential. More specific: the end of the drive shaft, the rear universal joint, the yoke, etc. The seal is a metal & rubber ring that is inside the long neck of the diff. You have to detach/remove the pieces attached on the front of diff to get at the seal.

Replaced the seal last night. An easier job than it appears to be. The only trouble I had was removing the old seal, that thing was ON there. No leaks either. When it came to puttig the nut back on the flange, I made a mark on the yolk with a sharpie and on the 1 1/8 socket and counted the rotations (17 even)
