Default Rear left turn signal and break light

On my 2008 XLT, the driver's side rear break light / turn signal doesn't work. The running light still works and all other turn signals and the other break lights work.

I obviously tried replacing the bulb but nothing different happened. I checked for juice in both rear break lights (the working and nonworking ones) and they tested at the same 11.5 v.

Wondering if anybody else had ran into this problem.
Thanks!!

where did you check for "Juice" at... the bulb contact ? did you install the passenger side buld in the drivers side ?? did you check for Voltage when stepping on the brake or when the turn signal was on ??

Well I found the issue. Just above my receiver hitch, there is a round 5-pin connector. I unplugged it and shook some of the sand and dirt out of it and now it works. I will have to get some contact grease to further ensure a good connection.

FYI
It's brake, not break.

Break is to damage or destroy something. Brake is to stop with.
