I have been noticing that lately when i take off my rear end feels as though it is breaking loose or has a slight bounce to it. It almost feels as though I am burning rubber but im not. Im not jumping on the gas for it to even wanna spin the tires. When I pull off the bed has a slight bounce to it...

Any one had/have this problem??

My 07 with limited slip does that when turning .It's almost as if there is no slip at all at slow turns.I had the dealer check it out and said everything was ok.

Maybe see if both wheels spin free. Maybe a break is hanging up? Just a wild thought.

how old is youre truck?and have you checked youre rear shocks?

There is something wrong. I don't think its the limited slip becuase i got l.s. on my 4X4 and don't have that unless i get on the skinny pedal but then again theres no bouncing then either just the rubber screaming!

its an 04 and no I havn't checked the shocks. How do I do that, or do I need to take it somewhere??

Man there's no way in hell your FX4 shocks have gone bad unless they've been beaten to death off road. I have 55,000 miles on my '06 and I swear they just now are starting to be broken in to a comfortable degree. Maybe one just broke, but worn out, no way. I would have to wonder about the rear end, U joints, drive shaft.
