Rear differential leak - questions

Thanks for the help and opinions guys - got this done over the weekend - only had two surprises - first was that fluid is the most foul smelling stuff I've ever pulled out of a vehicle - 2nd was a bolt that was bad (didn't find out until I went to put it back in) - had to run down and get a new bolt and an easy out but it's back in place and no leaks!

Haha..yes used gear oil is the worst anelling thing...
Was it milky white?
