Default rear breaks sticking 2006 f150

Break Problems on my 2006 f150

Hello I just purchased a 2006 F150 4x4 SuperCrew XLT with the 4.6l engine.
The rear breaks are so hot when i drive i can actually feel the truck being held back. The pads have been done on the rear so i know the pistons are not ceased. Wondering and hoping if its the flex line. Anyone have any ideas? i hope its not the master cylinder.
Thanks in advance!

Are you positive you don't have a sticking caliper? We're just pads done or pads and new calipers? Also check your e brake, these trucks are notorious for them sticking. The e brake is actually a drum behind the rotor, there are two levers that connect to the e brake line and they push the shoes. Theses levers rust and stick. Easy to take them out and grease them.

No prob, a easy way to check it is just look behind the back wheels and have someone work the pedal. Sometimes the cable actually comes off the lever

I have the same problem and know it's the e-brake. Haven't bothered fixing yet, but do make a point to tell anyone that drives it to never use the e-brake. Regardless, it has been used. To free it up in the interim, pull the release lever while having someone manually "push" on the cable by the left rear tire. It usually is enough to release it and allow you to drive without the brake being partially engaged.

Heres a good you tube video on it, just did mine the other day took a hour for both sides. I cleaneds up the levers with wire wheel. If you got a exhaust spring puller it makes getting that top spring on and off easy.
