Default Rear blocks install/suggestion's

Looking to lift my rear of my truck with a 1inch block to come level with the front of my truck.Could i just use a 1inch block of steel(i get steel for free from my shop)and can i also use my stock u-bolts? or will i need bigger longer u-bolts?Also anymore suggestion's ppl have please by all means leave em.Thanks all

That is the same kit that i have on my truck. The lifting blocks have a hole in the bottom which you cant see in the pic and that rasied spot on top to keep the axle in place. If you can duplicate that your golden. As you can see the kit came with U bolts so i didnt try to reuse my stock ones. I have read and heard the the stock U bolts arent long enough. if you try to reuse them you are only hanging on by a couple of threads. Not safe imo. If you do add a block to level it out make sure you tighten the crap out of those U bolts. Then check them a lot. I have had to tighten mine 3 different times but they are goood to go now.

all i have to say is never stack blocks. it not safe at all.

Nice kit.Mine is already leveled thoe in the front.But my truck is nose high and wanted to correct the rear by adding a 1inch block.Can i buy just the blocks from them,or if you have any sugestions.Thanks

Ya i heard its not good to stack.Didn't think of that,thanks.Any idea's on what i can do to bring the rear level with my front.I sit nose high in the front.Can i add a bigger block in-place of my stock block?
