Default Rear block angles

I'm looking at getting the 3" rear block for my 08 4x4, i'm a bit concerned about the pinion angles but i've only found threads in the 09+ section regarding this. Is it because our body style has larger oem blocks than the 09+ once is why i cant find any hence not a issue with the 04-08's?

The factory 2" block has no taper and a lot of guys add AAL's with no problems. I think your pinion angle will be fine. Personally, I would do a AAL over the 3" block.

Thanks for the reassurance, I'm having a ***** of a job deciding between AAL or block.
