"Ready Lift"
Hey guys, i'm new here, like what i see though, lots of nice trucks.
My question is about the "Ready Lift" leveling kit, heres the link
http://www.readylift.com/p-117-ready...ord-f-150.aspx
I got a 08 f150 Screw 4wd.
I know the kit is a 3" which i have noticed isn't recommended by some. but the system looks pretty slick. so i just wanted to know if any of you guys have this system. or if you wanna check out the link and give me some feedback on what you think that'd be great.
Thanks

I install these all the time, having said that I only do it because the customer has asked me too. I am a firm believer in over stepping your factory boundries, and any lift that gives 3 inchs with out lowering your LCA mounting points and other items i.e. diff, is doing exactly that. Stock suspension only has so much travel, and was built to work in a certian area of this travel. Pushing it past that wears out components prematurely. The money you save by maxing your suspension will cost you in parts that fail from extreme angle stress. I say 2" lift in the front, 1.5" lowering shackles in the rear, presto your truck is completely level, and still safe for travel.

What size tires are you wanting to run. A 2inch or a 2.5 inch leveling kit will let you run 33`s or 35`s. They have several on ebay from different companies. After talking to several folks here I went with Auto spring about 68 dollars and free shipping. I`m putting it on next week.

Words of advice....If you only jack up one side at a time, make sure to disconnect your sway bar on both sides before attempting to sqeeze the coilover back in place with the lift spacer. If you don't, it will be very difficult to get the first side in.
