with the amount of blown up retreads from rigs I see on the highways around here I wouldn't trust putting retreads on my truck. Im actually surprised theyre legal.

When my cousin moved from Nebraska to California he had retreads on his truck and in order to get the vehicle registered in CA he had to have an inspection. He failed the inspection for 2 reasons. He had cut the CATs off and his retread tires.

I'm currently running the Wardens from Treadwright. They are wearing extremely well. They are they best tire I have ever had in the snow. They kick ***.
On the other hand they are the worst tire I have ever had in the rain when going through puddles. They suck the truck right into puddles and pull it to the side of the road. Scary **** sometimes.
They have the same tread pattern as the BFG AT's. No water siphoning tread.
They are 11 months old with over 17k miles. 1/2" tread new and about 3/8" tread now. I run the air pressure at 40 psi.
Dont worry about the nay sayers. You wont loose a tread on the road like the big rigs. People have no clue because they dont research.
The guys who installed my tires had no idea they were retreads.
Next set I'll buy will be the Watchman A/T's.

All I have even ran has been Re Treads... never had a single issue. Just monitor them to make sure they don't start pulling apart from the sidewall. That's normally from running them hard at high speeds. Most truck drivers are actually told to just keep running their bald tires until they fall apart. That's why you see so many laying on the highway.

retreads
Well thanks for the input. I did a lot of research before purchasing tires because I was skeptical. All reviews of these tires seem to be good. They haven't had the problem of coming apart like the retreads on bigrigs. Just figure I'll give them a shot since tires are so damn expensive nowadays and these are about half price or reg titles with amazing tread patterns.
