I am talking about the company that is marketing them... for you to have a 32" wheel cruizing the streets on a rubber band tire and not bend or crack when you hit a pot hole.... it is a damn strong wheel... much stronger than an 18" wheel with a 33 or a 35 inch tire needs to be or is... its that quality that goes into the RBP wheel... if you have a chance to see one in person, compare its weight and thickness to ones of your $250 or $300 wheel... I promise you, you will see my point...

You act like RBP is the only company out there that makes a quality wheel Im not saying the $150 and $200 a wheel rims are comparable quality wise, but there are definitely rims out there that are just as well made for less the price. Thats all Im saying. Like I said earlier, I like some of the RBP stuff, but its price is majorly based on the image and the name. Now if they were moderately more expensive I would look into them further, but they are outrageously more expensive and there is no proof out there that they are that much better than any other top brand.

I know there are good wheels but what, $400 a wheel versus what? $300 a wheel? That is moderately more expensive

My RBP grille fits perfect and was very very easy to install.... was it a little more because of the name, sure... it is worth it? every penny
Good points. I think most folks these days buy a product for "bragging rights" or because some famous person or team endorses it, or "everyone else has one".

Good to solicite opinions here, but the ultimate decision comes from yourself. Buy it because it is the look you are going after. Buy it because it will enhance performance or fuel mileage (If this is what you're after).

Be unique. Pick a look that you like, and go with it.

Lexani is expensive because they are quality... I saw a truck at the body shop that was T-Boned... he had some 20's or 22's on it that were the $100-$200 a rim price... take a guess what happened? 3 out of 4 literall broke off... the center was still attached and the tire was still inflated, but they were separate.. the 4th was barelt still one peice... so if you want to be safe and you want quality you have to pay the $$$$.... anyone with an extra $30k can start a rim company and sell them... but it takes a lot more to have a load rated high quality rim... look at the previous post about what I said with a lexani

but I do agree with you bucko.... many people buy a product because its bragging rights and that doesnt always mean its the best,,, i.e. Banks... its good, but its not the best, but it holds the highest price tag and the highest bragging rights
