Default Rattling noise

anybody out there run into this problem? have an 05 Ford F150 Lariat 4x4. when i step on the accelerator and hit 45mph and up i get a loud rattling noise from the underside of the motor on the drivers side, when i let up on the accelerator the noise goes away. any Ideas!!!!

I have the same thing but its a fast rattle i can get out and back in and it will go away hope someone can help us its annoying i can rev mine in park and hear it also

Check for vacuum leaks in the 4wd system,its probably the hubs rattling (grinding)when the trucks under load.There is a great thread on this site that takes you step by step to troubleshoot this problem.

Ive got the same problem, and i was told it could be a bad knock sensor

Well mine does it whenever i hit the accelerator

Cold, check all yer heat shields I had that rattle too
