Default rattling noise

Here recently my truck has started to rattle. 08 scab 4.6l sct tuner. One day I pulled out of my farm and a car popped around curve. I matted it and wound up to around 6k rpm and shifted out. After that I have rattle. It doesn't do it all the time just at random moments when under slight load like cruising up a slight grade. I've replaced the EGR valve and torque converter.

Where does it seem to be coming from. My heat shield above muffler was partially rotted at the top and rattled like crazy until I found it. You may have finally caused something to break loose. Mine only did it when I stomped on it.

Sounds like it's coming from underneath the cab. All heat shields are in good condition and are also tight.

Man, I was hoping it was a quick fix. Can you get it to do it in park with you underneath and someone working the gas or does it just do it while driving. Sorry I could'nt help

I've had it up on jack stands an run it up 80 mph. I also applied the brakes trying to put a load on it and couldn't get it to do it.

Triple check those heat shields, I overlooked the one right below my seat and could hear it out the window so after several months I found it and used 2 of those metal pipe bands and rattle was gone

You said you've replaced your torque converter, have you double-checked your connections? Flex plate could be cracked and will cause the rattle. Not an easy task but it's possible this could be your source.

Hopefully no one was standing in front with a beer yelling faster. Your a better man than me ha ha. It sounds like you need to have weight on it to repeat that rattle. Dang noises and creaks drive me nuts. Can you find an underpass or work zone area with concrete barriers on both sides of road to amplify your rattle. I accidentaly pinpointed a few noises that way. Good luck

Finally found out what my issue was. It was the 4x4 solenoid on the firewall. It would stick at a certain amount of vacuum and my 4x4 hubs were trying to engage.
