Default Rattling doors

Hey,

I have the 07 STX. The driverside doors rattle when I hit a bump, not sure about passenger side. Is there a way to tighten it up?

Do you have the supercab (extended cab)?

If so, make sure your rear door fully latches at both the top and bottom, otherwise you'll get a rattle.

Its like the extended standard cab where it has the small back. Its almost like it doesn't grab it tight enough. not sure if its the back door or the front

Mine are doing it on my supercrew. Absolutely annoying. I just adjusted the catch a little, so maybe that will help.

i have a squeaky driver door on my Screw as well. its been like that since i bought it. i took it to my wifes dads shop, he is a locksmith so i thought he could see something. he didnt see anything that would cause it. so i just wrapped a small piece of elec. tape around the striker plate. that solves it for a while but the tape gets torn up so you just have to retape about once a mont.

I had rattly doors on mine. I went around and loosened all the strikers and gave em a good wap or two with my 1lb hammer. Tightened em back down and they barely make any noise now.
