Anyone else hear a rattle either in park or drive, near the bell housing when you give it just a little gas. I thought it was one of my cats making the noise, but they isolated it right in between the motor and tranny.
I guess the best way to describe it would be a bb inside a can. It does it only between about 600 and 800 rpms. Something is loose, just don't know what.
Any thoughts will help?

This is good, I thought it was dead. What I found is that I can look under the truck while still reaching the gas pedal and hit the gas just enough to see where the noise is coming from.
Man I hope we can figure this out. 05 fx4

That's just it I went to have my cats replaced, and that's how they isolated it to the bell housing.. so mine is without a doubt inside between the tranny and the motor.
They checked every inch of my exhaust and welded my shields before we found where it was.
