What I would give to have a raptor style grill made for 04-08. Would ford immediately shut someone down who tried to produce something like this.

I love the grill on those trucks all black with the FORD all the way across!!

I would say they would, becuase it would say Ford on it....they are getting pretty strict about the copyright thing...they have made venders stop making badges for Ford vehicles lately....

To answer your question:

No, they couldn't shut you down for making a grill that looks like the Raptor for our models if you didn't put a Ford emblem on it and try to sell it. They can't do much for something that looks like oem when they don't even make it for that model. You can buy aftermarket headlights right

Yea those grills are sick. I wish they could fit on reg f150s.

Hmm would that cover someone making a kit that fits the Raptor grill to an F150? your not making the ford grill, just making something to attach the grill to on a F150.

I like the looks of the Raptor grill, Would be nice to be able to put it on my 05.

Well I didn't really read the forum rules very well so i'm not sure if its ok I post a link to another site but I came across this while googling the idea.
