The ambers on raptors are there for law reasons, the trucks too wide so they added amber lights for legal reasons... must have meant for big rig regulations or something, but thats just what i read a few years ago about the ambers on them: too wide.

Just how wide is a Raptor? 102" width is where you need ICC markers, and I'm not sure being in the grille qualifies. If memory and experience serves me right, they have to be mounted on the cab roof. They don't have the markers o the rear either, do they? I could be totally wrong.

According to Ford, the Raptor is 86.3" wide, markers and ICC lights are not required. Scroll down to "Tech Specs".

oop, my bad there. was from something that i read, apparently it was somebodies guess years ago- when they came out. would be cool on the 08s if done right i guess... anyone tried any yet?
