Default Need Advice On Subwoofers

I have an 04 f150 lariat crew cab and i am wanting to get some subs. I want to put them in the back under back seats but dont know if that is the best place to put them. Also i have no clue what kind of subs are the best and what set up i need to get the best sound available. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a box for two tens I bought off of eBay for like 60 bucks, it's a down firing box that slides under the seats perfectly with no figment issues and filled it with 2 ten inch Rockford fosgate Shallow mount subs. I went shallow mount because those were the only real options for a box under those seats. There's not a ton amount of options for shallow mounts that were terribly expensive. I got the subs from vminnovations off of eBay as well and got both of the for 100 bucks shipped to the door. Powered them with a 1000 watt kenwood amp and they are loud enough for me and have less than 300 bucks invested into the entire system. Minus my head unit of course

I have 2 shallow mount Memphis tens in a box that fits under the back seat. Use a 1000 watt amp. Bangs pretty hard. Definitely able to **** the neighbors off with it. Amp was $100 subs were $89 a piece and box was $89 off ebay

No. Having the same brand doesn't really matter. Just be sure to get a decent kenwood or jvc radio. I've had some Chinese off brand touch screens that made my system sound terrible.

Fox acoustics is one of the only boxes that can handle full size subs.. 1 properly sized 10" will be more than enough bass.. 10" subs tend to sound more precise and clean IMO...
Here's my setup:
JLw3V3 4 ohm 10" sub with a sealed fox box.. With a 1600 watt amp.. It hammers hard and fast, but stays very clean with zero vibes and rattles...
