Default Rancho Quicklift + 4/6 inch suspension lift

I currently have the Rancho Quicklifts and there is a 1 1/2-2 inch rake...... I'm looking into a few 4 and 6 inch suspension lifts...... Do you guys think I could reuse my Rancho's in the front, with a 6 inch lift and adding a add-a-leaf to the rear will work for 37 inch tires?

Anyone? As far as I can think of it would work..... My steering, axle, and ball joint angles would be the same as with the level.... Any opionions?

I would think it wouldn't be any different than say running a leveling kit on a non lifted truck. Your lift should shove everything down, keeping the joint angles stock, or at least close to. Since you are getting 1.5" of rake, then you have the same spring problem with your quicklift that I do, which is you didn't really get 2.5" of lift, but rather only 1" due to the too soft springs Rancho uses...

If you go with say a 6" lift, swap the right coil springs for your VIN in there, you should end up with ~8.5" total lift, which would put you nose high, stab a 2.5" add a leaf in to level it back out, or even 3" of leaves to get a slight rake back to the truck...

Don't get me wrong, I love my Quicklift, but I sure wish Rancho had opted to put everyone in the highest spring rate coil for these trucks instead of the lowest...

the quicklifts should of leveled your truck unless you added some bigger blocks or an add-a-leaf...why not do it right and go with an 8 inch lift ...and then you will need to re-gear with the 37's

Well, here's how I see it, 1 a 6 inch lift is a lot cheaper, 2 if it works with what I currently have it will save me more money. 3 if theres nothing wrong with my suspension angles now, then there will be nothing wrong doing it this way..... 4 because of the leveling setup, I'll have more ground clerance than a 6 or 8 inch lift...... I already have 4.56's..... I know most will say switch to 4.88's but I have future plans that will include a set of longtubes and a 2.3L whipple.

I don't think Quicklifts will not work with a 6 inch lift...you will need longer struts..

But isn't the rancho a longer strut than a stock one?

But most 6 inch lifts stack a 6 inch spacer spacer on top of stock strut or upgrade to a coilover.
