Sweet Hood. Glad to C you finally got it. Makes your truck look bad *****. Have you noticed any improvements with the ram air set up rather than just the cold air.?

You know it's been so cold and wet here that I have abnormal humidity and temps anyways. I will check it out when it warms back up.

Sin, it looks like you may have started a trend. I have only seem one of those hoods around here and it makes those trucks look mean! I'm glad you got one and hopefully more people take the cue. Thanks for the compliment.

Hey sin, I am the one who told you about that suncoast deal, looks good. I didn't even think of the heat shield. Are you going to try to transfer yours over? Do you think that we will need it? I don't have my old hood, traded it for paint on mine, so I would have to get something. Let me know what you think. I get alot of looks, and I just smile at those suckers. Once again truck looks gooood.

I did them myself. I tried patriot decals, but it didn't give them the effect I wanted. Nothing agaist PD the product was very nice, cheap, and quick shipping. Just not what I was going for. Then I was going to go Billet Badges but he can no longer do any "ford" copyrighted words so I ditched that idea since I don't want any corny sayings on mine, just wanted the colors different. So, Krylon fusion + clear coat with a bizilion coats (cause the 1st time around only 4 didn't cut it and the front got scratched while playing in the mud)

Heheh..tried that hood for paint deal and they didnt bite. Oh well. As for the heat shield I dont know. My only concern is how hot it is here w/ the engine heat. I am going to contact Suncoast and see what they suggest. I will keep you posted.

And looks, oh yeah,,,,I actually was down at the dealership picking up some stuff and the customs guy that wanted 2K to get, paint, and install it saw it and was like " oh you got the monster huh, we did good work."
Negative.....got it all done for 1/4 of what he wanted. Pissed him off a little but whatever.
