Talking Ram Air Hood. FINALLY!!

So, I finally got my ram air hood installed. Here are a few pics...it's cloudy and wet so not the best. Still working out the details to make a modified air box that will fit more snug with the hood.

Probably going to paint the vent grilles black (since I asked the bonehead at the shop to) so it matches better. Gonna have the skid plate powder coated too.

Looks like they did a nice job of painting it. the finish of the hood looks nice too, looks like a pretty well made peice. how about the hood mount / loch points

How much did that run ya without the paint? I like the looks of that one...I bet your open box CAI will appreciate having some cooler air in there.

It is pretty good, going to do some adjusting with some shims due to some rubbing on the wiper cowl. As for painting....the top is good, but they did a lousy overall job. Only tossed em $100 under the table so I expected sub par work, just not that bad. Good for now.

It was on sale...$350. The open box CAI and Ram Air hood were the plan from get go.. The air intake temp never really got bad except when the temp got over 120 down in the AZ desert.

http://www.suncoastramairhoods.com/

They changed owners so the new guy is selling the old stuff "as-is"

They are having a sale on all the hoods that are theirs too. They also do a layaway setup too.

looks nice in the picture but you should put a set of stealth turn signal bulbs in and get rid of the amber in the front of your truck.
