So I was told by Crutchfield that aftermarket will not support my rear entertainment system. Looks like OEM is my only option.

Bucko since you seem to know a lot about the stereos in these trucks maybe you can help me. The rear entertainment system is just a DVD player hanging from the roof right? The only tie into the stereo is for audio? http://metraonline.com/files/products/INST71-5520-1.pdf
Heres my wiring harness. The only part I don't understand is the Audio Corp Protocol A and B? If I put in an aftermarket radio the rear entertainment will still work just through the headphones and not the speakers right? That would be the only change with the RES right?
