radio turns on by itself when truck is off
Guys hope someone can help me out this problem is driving me crazy, its been an on going thing for a couple months. The radio works like normal and shuts off if I open the door or wait the ten mins for it to shut off itself. but after the truck sits most of the time 5-10 mins the radio magically turns itself back on.
Can anyone point me in the right the direction what to look for or test or anything. Thanks in advance.

That's a new one. I would try to get my hands on another radio, to see if it still happens. Borrow one from a friend if they have a f150, or check Craigslist/junkyard for a cheap one.

Do you power windows work when it turns on? If so, that means your accessory delay relay is engaging for some reason... hard to say, I'd ask next if you have a remote starter or anything aftermarket added at that point.
If the power windows work, it tells me it's your accessory line is being powered somewhere and for some reason (not necessarily accessory delay relay though). We'll have to start here .

Had this same problem on the gf's mustang with the same radio that's in our trucks. I chased down all the wires in the harness and couldn't find a problem. I replaced the radio and no problems since.

Could also be your ignition acting up.
