Default Radio Quit

Looking for some help... 2007 150 Lariat ..Radio worked fine forever, parked, went into a store and when I started back up had no radio power (no clock- no power at all) checked all related fuses -none are blown. #7 and #35 have no power to either side with key on, #22 and 31 have power to both sides. Is there another relay or fuse that gives power to fuses 7 and 35? Trying to not pull the radio if I don't need to.Thanks in advance.

The radio is very simple to pull. I would pull it out unplug it and let it sit and plug it back up. I had my radios quit for some reason and need to be done this way to reset it.

Looks like your clock/memory run through F31, F102 goes to your ignition switch (you would have other issues if this was gone). F1 goes from Acc/Run to your deck (which should bypass the Accessory Delay Relay - eliminating that as a possible cause - unless deck started working once you shut truck off).

F7 has a wire that goes from the Start position of the ignition to RD/BK on your deck, I'm just not sure what that's about. I know the ignition obviously cuts the deck out during start but I have no idea why they'd run a direct line to the deck for that. It's only on early builds it says for whatever reason.

Your best bet is take the deck out like ford4wd07 says as it's REALLY easy. Let it sit but if you have a voltmeter check the grounds (BK and BK/LG I show for your truck), BATT (LG-VT), DEL/ACC (LG-YE or PK-BK depending if XLT/FX4, etc), and whatever this RD-BK wire is about *IF* you have it (says early build) at the radio connector. If you have +12V at all of those wires, the problem is in the deck. In that case, I'd do what ford4wd08 suggested (and might not hurt anyways).

#7 and #35 not having power with the key on does seem very odd though.... All my diagrams show they should be hot at all times...

Thanks for the responses-I found this thread ..pulled #31 and put it right back in !POOF! radio came on. Probably the same as removing it from the dash and waiting ,but this was easier... https://www.f150forum.com/f4/radio-w...e-back-100656/ Thanks all.. EDIT: #7 & 35 still have no power with key on,I didn't check with key off - All presets were kept. Seems like maybe the relay that shuts the radio down while starting stuck closed/open

Great news! My factory deck had acted up similar once but I've switched to a Pioneer a few years back for integrated hands-free. Glad to hear you've found it though.

Thumbs up

Removing and putting back fuse 31 caused my dead radio to work again. Good fuse pulled and merely put back in. Click! Radio works again.
