Default Radiator R&R

Well I had to replace the rad on my 05 today. Fan shroud appeared to have rubbed a hole in the bottom of the core. Was gonna buy one from FoMoCo but it's discontinued. Settled on a Spectra from Napa. Not a bad job even for those of yall out there that consider yourself a novice wrench turner. You will need a Ford specific disconnect to get the cooler lines out though.

Do you remember which core you bought? I'm trying to decide between the 1 inch or 1 7/8 inch..

Most replacement radiators include the plastic "tools" needed for removing the transmission lines that connect to it.

I found that out after I borrowed a tool from my mechanic buddy. I knew the disconnect tool was different and it had been a while since I had to buy a rad
