ok, my magnaflo is similar
not loud at idle or cruising the highway, but when going through the gears or you step on it there is no mistake its not a stock truck

Yeah, it must've just been the hemi and the terrible noise dampening in dodge cabs then, I haven't heard anything bad about Ford owner's with magnaflows but his dodge was just obnoxiously loud even in overdrive cruising

Not arguing with anyone on here, just giving you my personal experience... My dad had a magnaflow stainless cat-back on his ram hemi. The magnaflow he had was a flow through. Sure, it sounded great, but if you had to ride in that truck for more than an hour, or on the highway at cruising speed, it was obnoxious with the cab drone. I put a 3" si/so on my 5.4 with a Flowmaster 40 series and the only time I get cab drone is in the 1200-2000 rpm range. On the highway its nice and quiet. It's got a nice deep rumble at idle, and sounds great when its running through the gears. Couldn't be happier
As an owner of both a Ram 1500 and an F-150 I can tell you that the Ford has a luxury-car quiet compared to the Dodge. That's just the difference in how they're made. Regarding the exhaust, I never cared for Magnaflow so I can't comment on their products, other than the fact that I wouldn't purchase one.
The Hemi motor, at least the first generation Hemi/Magnum 5.7 was considerably louder than the later models with MDS.
