Default Quick question

Ok i am a nonsmoker so i am wanting to know the lighter outlet on our trucks is not a 12v outlet is there anyway i could convert it to one so that i would have 2 12v outlets

It is definitely supposed to be 12v, so if yours isn't, you have an issue somewhere.

What i am meaning if i plug my car charger in the lighter plug it wont charge my phone but if i move it to the 12v outlet on the pasanger side it will charge

It should charge it. Something is wrong. Does your cigarette lighter get hot when you push it?

It's most definitely 12v and should charge a phone. Does your lighter work?

Idk i can swing by the part store later and get one since they sre onlu a few bucks

Got a volt ohm meter? You child check it that way. Have you checked the fuses?

They're on the same fuse. If one works, they both should.
