Default Questions on Saleen Grill Install

Hey Guys,
I'm about to buy a Sallen grill but I am a little concerned about installing it with the grill I have now. I have the tan honeycomb grill. With the Saleen grill do I have to cut out the center of my stock honeycomb grill? I don't want to have a black grill with a tan surround.

Thanks

Here is a pic of the grill I am talking about. (not my truck)

Nothing has to be uncut. You will retain your Painted trim around the honey comb, but the saleen "snaps" in place of the honey comb section. You will need to be careful when removing your honeycomb as to not damage any points where the saleen will snap to. Just take your time, and it will go in easy. If you check my pics, you will see the part I am referring to. Some of my pics have the old Chrome H-bar, and then a few have the new Saleen. Hope this helps!

After lookin at your truck, it appears you have the chrome surround? is that correct? if so, this is what retains and not the Painted section like I first mentioned. confused? I hope not.

Default Saleen Grill

I replaced my honeycomb grill with a saleen just two weeks ago. My truck is a 2008 Lariat. I re-used my chrome surround. as stated "just go slow" and work with the tabs carefully. On a couple of tabs I had to trim the tips. so I could get them to release the surround chrome piece tabs.

I also ordered a badge from billet badges in San Marcos, Ca

I don't want the Saleen badge. My truck isn't a Saleen. It's a Desert truck!

Default One - two weeks

I talked to them last week. Steve is the guy. He said that he wasn't happy with the way the end letter came out and that he would need to re-run a new piece.
So! I have been checking the mail??
