i have a 06 SCREW 2wd. when i bought the truckit had the fabtech lift alreay installed. the 315s rubbed in the front so i added 2in to the rear and turned down the coil-overs(2.5 dirt logics). ran if for the last 3 years. so i got a deal for the MX_6 shocks for 10 a piece new in box. there a 6in lift shock.2 or 4 wd dont know. i ran it for a few days on the lowest setting and there loud almost like someing is loose under the bed.then to the third adjustment, same noise and today i turned them always clockwise to setting 6 and still does it. i can hop on my hitch and make the sound.i checked the spare tire and its tight. are these shocks just loud or what.could it be 6in lift shocks for a 4x4 and there not extended enough? i can feel the rod and there not bottoming out though

nevermind guys,at work today i hopped on the hitch and had my buddy look. the top bolt l/h side is floating around,so i guess the top and bottom bolts have a different thickness. so ill swich them around
