Default Question for those with BakFlip G2 Tonneau Cover

I'm looking at the BakFlip G2 Tonneau Cover for my 07 scab with 6.5 bed with bedliner. My question iswill I have any clearance problems with the bedliner where it overlaps the top of the front of the bed. I believe that I read where it was a tight fit and that you had to close the cover then the tailgate.

Default bakflip

I have a 2007 supercrew with the 5'5 bed and just installed the Bakflip. You do have to close the tailgate first before the lid. Im not sure about the bedliner. Overall, I love the Bakflip. It looks good and keeps everything dry.

Are you talking about the plastic railcap that came stock? I have a bak flip on my 07 sc with the 6.5 bed and it installed with no problems.

The part of the bedliner that goes over the front of the bed,the rest of the liner goes under the side rails. It looks like you would loose maybe a 1/4-1/2 clearance on the cover.

Just went out and looked at mine. The part of the cover that goes over the front bed rail has a bulb gasket that is quite compressable so if the bed liner in higher than the side rails it should be no problem.

If the bedliner intrudes into the bed space (away from the cab) even the better. There is plenty of room to adjust front to rear.
