Exclamation question for replacing stock muffler

Alright i have been looking for glasspacks to replace the stock muffler. my question is will a 29.5 inch long one fit without needing extra exhaust pipe added.

No. You will need about 3 more inches of pipe to weld it all you can go pick up a peice at like napa for cheap.

Would be easy enough to figure out by crawling under the truck with a tape measure. Measure the stock muffler from inlet pipe to outlet pipe, then compare to the glasspack muffler.

Unless you weld, it's an easy job for a muffler shop.

you should probably take a class in how to use and read a measuring tape, that is a pretty ridiculous question to ask. does it come down to laziness? or do you just not know how to use a ruler?

sorry if this comes across as rude, but in order for me to tell you the answer to this I would have to crawl under my truck and take the same measurements that you would.

i do know the muffler is 31" but im not sure if the glasspack if 29 from just the main part or if its from the inlet to outlet.

you should probably look at it, then measure it. because I'm sure it is going to vary from manufacturer to manufacturer
