Default Question for people familiar with Edge Evolution

I have had my Edge Evolution on my truck for about 3 weeks. I have input the correct tire size and the speedometer is spot on compared to a gps. The Evolution is telling me my average MPG is 23. I have a 5.4. My question is this: Am I really getting 23 mpg? I don't see how that is possible. Am I missing something?

Check your miles at your next fill up. Fill all the way up and record the miles you you drove until the next fill up. Divide miles by gallons, boom miles per gallon.

What year model is your truck? I highly doubt the 23mpg. I was thinking of getting the Edge Evolution to remove my 96mph speed limit. If it also gets me 23mpg...I'm gonna go for it!!! LOL!

Try updating it via Edgeproducts website. My hand calculation is always within 1 mpg with what the Edge says. I would always use the hand calculated method over any digital computer generated number though......

Yea, if your getting 23, tell me EVERYTHING you're doing and what's on your truck! Filled up today, the evo said 14.2, reality was 12.9. That's only a 1.3 mpg difference, which is about average.

What does your hand calculations show? Did you update it when you got it before downloading a tune to your truck?

I did not update the software. How can I tell if it has the latest update?
