Replacing the head unit on my 2008 crew. I removed the old head and there is a silver box mounted below the radio? Does anyone know what that's for? Don't know if it's a needed componet or just a sirus box. Please help if you can. Thanks

Yea post pics, HU swaps on these trucks are easy, 2 bolts out un plug, get a new harness and plug in the new one and your set. I dont remember any box
