Default Question about rims.

I have a 2005 F150 if I buy a set of 18 inch rims is it possible to take the tires off of my 18 inch factory rims and put them on the new after market rims?

yes it is as long as the new rims that you buy are not too wide.

Just remeber 18's rims, the tires will cost you alot more than 17's. Kinda wish I would have either gone to 20's or 17's myself instead of 18's.

What size tire are on your stock rim? my truck had 275/65 r18
They would have fit my new rims. 18x9
However I did choose to run 35's

I wanted 18" rims, I seemed stuck on the 18" 20's just seemed to large for my 4x4.
In all my research I saw the price difference and in some brands the difference was big maybe 60.00 more per tire.
Here is an example:

although I found my 18" toyo 35's for 220.00 each

Hey boilerup15,

I figure if a person was to run 20" on there 4x4 they would need some bigger tires, bigger than 35's ( maybe?) so I looked. WOW 400.00 each tire!!!

or

With these tires I think it would be time for an F350. I would go broke modifying and changing. or loose the wife LOL

Those new rims are 20" ? They look good the black rim with the polished centers. even though you may have posted the rim size. I missed it!

I have worried about the distance between the rim and the rock. but those don't look bad at all.

I have always thought 20" is good for 2wd but your rims look good
Hmm! another change in thinking!
