Default Question about ignition coils

Does it matter what brand of coils I use? Im sure I could pay top dollar for some but I'm sure others that are cheaper does the same trick. I found this deal on ebay for plugs(motorcraft) coils for $88. Any input? Thanks in advance!!

I got this deal and coils are working fine. I figured at least the plugs are motocraft, and if the coils don't last they are easy to replace. So far they are working fine, I wouldn't be afraid !

They are ALL nickel ( plated bodies ). It's the firing tip that is precious metal.

I was changing my plugs and pulled some of my coils apart. As I was checking prices I seen that the accel performance coils was cheaper than motorcraft. I have not been dissappointed by them, you will notice and increase in performance, not a lot but you will notice it.I ordered mine from jegs, they were the cheapest.

Your increase in performance was more likely due to new plugs you installed ...not the COPS.

No when I pulled them apart I reinstalled them until they started to misfire,I had the truck checked and the cops finally played out, that is when I ordered the other ones and it was about two months on the new plugs before installing the new cops. The increase is noticeable in higher speeds, around 70 to 75 you can floor it and it hits passing gear as before it would not.
